As you may know by now, I love to travel and I thoroughly enjoy my life as a destination wedding photographer exploring new places and cultures. I recently captured a wedding in Scottsdale, where I fell in love with Arizona’s landscape, so it was a natural fit for to me to go back and capture a special styled shoot in Paradise Valley. Get ready for loads of wedding inspiration with desert flair!

ARIZONA WEDDING INSPIRATION

Scottsdale is known for its beautiful wedding venues, and one of my favorites is El Chorro in the Paradise Valley. El Chorro provides an unparalleled atmosphere of luxury and romance. It is framed by Camelback Mountain, a truly incredible desert landmark. Thanks to this fantastic setting, any wedding held at El Chorro in Paradise Valley will be unforgettable! A beautiful, historic building, delicious local and seasonal cuisine…what more could you want? Rackel from Rackel Gehlsen Weddings was the event planner for this Scottsdale wedding styled shoot. Together with the talented Alexis Grace Florals, she pulled off an incredible El Chorro wedding design that any Arizona bride would adore!

The wedding reception table was place underneath a breathtaking Bougainvillea vine bursting with bright pink blooms. A soft blue and white color theme was in harmony with the desert and matched the stunning pink Bougainvillea unexpectedly well! Our bride wore a gorgeous Galia Lahav dress adorned with lots of pearls. Her Bella Belle shoes adorned with crystals made this bridal look even more sophisticated and elegant. Meanwhile, the handsome groom donned a classic black tux. His look was the perfect fit for this exotic Arizona wedding design!

The ceremony site was decorated with a loop of greenery to match the natural look of the desert and Camelback Mountain. Last but not least, a bouquet in soft olive greens with pops of white and blue completed the desert inspired aesthetic. Are you planning an Arizona wedding?
