As you may know by now I am originally from Munich in Germany. I always love to go back every year to see family and friends. This time a special occasion took me to Munich. Katharina & Marco’s wedding weekend. We started off with their classic Munich engagement session. As a Munich engagement photographer I know Munich very well and that Munich has so much to offer when it comes to image backdrops. Munich is scattered with beautiful parks, fountains and old classical buildings. So, it’s really easy to find the perfect corner for a Munich engagement such as this was. I simply loved Katharina and Marco’s elegant and sophisticated style. First, Katharina was wearing a playful khaki dress from Ted Baker, one of my favorite English designers. Ted Baker offers classy dresses which make you look beautiful. With their first outfit we played around at the heart of Munich close to the Stachus area at a park called Lenbachplatz with a massive water fountain. There, Marco and Katharina danced away and I just adored how Katharina’s gorgeous dress was whirling during their dance moves. To take a little break from dancing they sat at the fountain and cuddled away. I loved the little touches Katharina had thought of. She got a bouquet from her favorite floral store in Munich called ‘Blumen die Leben’ literally translated it means ‘Flowers alive’. The flower colors she chose for bouquet were matching her stunning khaki outfit. Later on, we went to a more impressive backdrop in Munich – an area with lots of old architectural buildings and Katharina changed into a classic black lace dress. The soft background made Katharina and Marco stand out with their beautiful outfits. Come and join their fun and playful engagement session here.
