10TH VAIL, COLORADO
Emily and Brett tied the knot at the 10th restaurant in Vail, which boasts incredibly beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains. As a Vail wedding photographer, I always love to come back to the 10th—the mountain scenery never disappoints. Emily got ready for the wedding at her parents’ home. With the help of her closest friends, she stepped into her stunning Monique Lhuillier gown.
A pair of pretty and sparkly Louboutin shoes completed Emily’s sophisticated New York look. Brett, Emily’s handsome groom, complemented her look in a navy blue custom suit. His name was embroidered inside the jacket, and even his white shirt was embroidered with his initials!
I chose a very intimate location far away from the crowds. Colorful florals and greenery made for stunning images! Together with Carrie, owner of the styling company Type A Society. We started with a backdrop of pine trees before capturing some Vogue-inspired images up on the deck of the 10th in Vail. These images were a perfect match for Emily and Brett’s sophisticated New York wedding style.
For their outdoor wedding ceremony, House of Yonder created lush, low white and green floral arrangements to adorn the aisle. Those unobstructed mountain views during their ceremony left everyone in awe! Following the romantic ceremony, guests enjoyed a fun and colorful cocktail hour. Florals in shades of pink, blush, and ivory adorned the cocktail bar area and the cute puffs surrounding the bar as well.
