      Dunguaire Castle is a 16th-century tower house located on the shores of Galway Bay in County Galway, Ireland. The castle was built in 1520 by the O'Hynes clan and was later owned by the powerful O'Flaherty clan. The castle's name comes from the Irish "Dún Guaire", which means "Guaire's stronghold", after the legendary king Guaire Aidhne who ruled the area in the 7th century.

      King John's Castle is a historic fortress located in Limerick City, Ireland. It was built in the 13th century on the orders of King John of England, who wanted to strengthen his control over the region.

      Cahir Castle is a stunning example of medieval architecture, with its imposing stone walls, round towers, and defensive moat.

      Blarney Castle was built in the 15th century by the MacCarthy family, who was one of the most powerful and influential families in Ireland at the time.
