The summer of 2019 has been something else. Snow in June in Colorado? Oh well, luckily it only started snowing late at night for Amanda and Herbie’s Vail summer wedding at Camp Hale in Colorado. Both of them are from Florida and they decided to tie the knot in Colorado surrounded by their closest family and friends. About 50 people total were present for their beautiful wedding. These intimate weddings are always very special! I just loved Amanda’s girl tribe—such wonderful ladies who took good care of Amanda. All of her ladies made sure that Amanda’s day ran smoothly and helped wherever they could while she got ready for her wedding. And how cute is the balloon surprise and Champagne they prepared for Amanda?

While Amanda was getting ready at the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch in Beaver Creek, Herbie got ready at their wedding venue, Camp Hale in Vail. Amanda wore a very romantic lace Pronovias gown and simply looked stunning. Her handsome groom, Herbie, complemented her look with a classic tux. There was no first look and they saw each other for the first time at their ceremony. What a beautiful, intimate Colorado wedding! I loved the personal touches throughout the day—their emotional ceremony was very moving.

Amanda’s floral bouquet was lush and wild. The soft bouquet was created by Yonder House, named one of the best florists in the U.S. by Harper’s Bazaar. Her floral theme continued to the reception—the elegant, organic arrangements were perfectly suited to her Vail summer wedding. Together with House of Yonder, Jennifer from Gemini Weddings created an incredible and unforgettable event for Amanda and Herbie. Jennifer was named the best Vail wedding planner, and is truly outstanding in everything she does.

Amanda surprised Herbie by changing into a stunning Indian wedding outfit while everyone was dancing at the reception, which was very special for a Colorado wedding photographer like me. True love is full of surprises!
