      THE WILD WEST

      CO & UT, USA

Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve is a unique and remarkable place. The park boasts the tallest sand dunes in North America, with some dunes reaching heights of up to 750 feet (230 meters). These massive dunes create a surreal and otherworldly landscape.

Despite its arid appearance, the park encompasses diverse ecosystems. It includes grasslands, wetlands, forests, alpine tundra, and even a small section of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. This variety of habitats supports a wide range of plant and animal species.

Arches National Park, located in eastern Utah, is renowned for its spectacular natural rock formations and arches. Perhaps the most iconic feature of the park, Delicate Arch is a freestanding natural arch that has become a symbol of Utah and is featured on the state's license plates. It stands at 46 feet (14 meters) tall and is an awe-inspiring sight, especially during sunrise or sunset. It is home to over 2,000 natural sandstone arches, making it the largest concentration of natural arches in the world.

Canyonlands National Park, located in southeastern Utah, is a remarkable and diverse landscape characterized by deep canyons, towering mesas, expansive plateaus, and the convergence of the Green and Colorado Rivers. The park's name itself signifies its most prominent feature—canyons. It encompasses vast stretches of colorful and rugged canyons carved by the erosive forces of water and time. The canyons exhibit stunning geological formations, including sheer cliffs, towering spires, and intricate maze-like landscapes.
