Are you newly engaged? Did you maybe get engaged over holiday season? Congratulations! An exciting time of wedding planning is awaiting you. And while you are looking for your wedding planner, who will help you find your dream venue and vendors you should also slowly start thinking about your engagement session. As a Colorado wedding photographer I find it very important that my couples not only book me for their wedding, but also for their engagement. I use their Colorado engagement session to bond with my couples. That way they feel more relaxed on their wedding day since they know me already and they know how I work. They are less stressed on their big day and can really enjoy their party with family and friends. And isn’t it so much more fun to dress up and think of a special idea for your engagement session? Just like Erin & Sean did! Erin’s uncle built this fabulous boat and Erin had this vision to incorporate his boat during her Denver engagement session at Denver City Park. She planned a boat engagement session on a lake at Denver City Park. Their Denver engagement stood out since they wanted a natural Denver City Park engagement session instead of going to Denver downtown or to the mountains. And since she loves champagne and fashion they sipped on the champagne while enjoying the scenery and water. Sean taught her how to fly fish. It was April with only one cherry blossom tree blooming – a beautiful backdrop. I simply love spring. And Style Me Pretty loved the incredible vision of Erin’s and her lake engagement session.
