Jessica and Max are both from Florida and decided to host their Jewish wedding in Beaver Creek, Colorado. The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa was the perfect venue for their destination wedding in Colorado. Tucked into the Vail Valley, this luxurious resort is located at the gateway to the Vail-Beaver Creek area. I simply love to photograph weddings in Vail and Beaver Creek. The natural beauty, soft light, fresh air, and mountain views make for stunning portraits. When people ask me about the best destination wedding locations in Colorado, Beaver Creek is always at the top of my recommendation list!
JESSICA & MAX’S JEWISH WEDDING IN BEAVER CREEK
Jessica and Max wanted their Jewish wedding in Beaver Creek to feel classic, timeless, and exquisite. The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa’s spacious outdoor area and airy reception room fit the bill perfectly! By incorporating lots of feathergrass into her ceremony and reception decor, Jessica and her wedding planner, Calluna, created a romantic and playful atmosphere. With Calluna named one of the top planners in the United States by Brides magazine, Jessica and Max were in good hands! Heather, the owner of Calluna, provided great design guidance to bring Jessica’s vision to life.
CEREMONY & RECEPTION DETAILS
One of my favorite details to photograph was the couple’s feathergrass chuppah, which was beautifully executed by well-known Colorado florist The Perfect Petal. Jessica’s love for this bohemian botanical was further reflected at her reception, where tall arrangements of feathergrass and florals accented tête-à-têtes and tablescapes alike. A beautiful geode cake from Megan Joy Cakes gave a further nod to all things earthy and organic. It was a perfect combination of trendy and timeless.
Jessica’s gorgeous Jimmy Choo shoes also displayed an incredible feather element! I’m passionate about preserving wedding details through photography, and these show-stopping shoes are definitely worth remembering. They perfectly complemented Jessica’s stunning Galia Lahav gown—a dream of lace and chiffon. A long veil finished Jessica’s princess-inspired look.
This was one of my favorite Beaver Creek weddings to photograph to date! With their band playing all night long, the happy couple was on cloud nine. Stop by Style Me Pretty to see even more from Jessica and Max’s unforgettable Jewish wedding in Beaver Creek.
