INTIMATE ELOPEMENT AT LAS VEGAS SPRINGS PRESERVE FEATURED BY MAGNOLIA ROUGE
Every year in February, I attend the WPPI wedding photographer conference in Las Vegas. I always combine this business trip with a visit to see family in Las Vegas. It’s a nice getaway from the cold and snowy winters in Chicago and Colorado! As luck would have it, Brittani and Curtis just so happened to be planning their intimate Las Vegas elopement around the same time.
Together with their amazing Las Vegas wedding planner, Angelica Rose Events, they chose to elope at the Las Vegas Springs Preserve. This venue is a true oasis in the middle of the Nevada desert! To bring her vision for an intimate elopement to life, Angelica brought Catherine from Layers of Lovely onto her vendor team. Catherine is a Las Vegas and Colorado based wedding florist and is one of my absolute favorite florists to work with. Her talent is impeccable, as we can see from the floral design she created for Brittani and Curtis!

INTIMATE LAS VEGAS WEDDING DETAILS
Catherine arranged a semi-circle of florals to create a backdrop for the couple’s vow exchange. Their officiant, Hanna, who is an ordained priestess, created a very special ceremony syncing the cycles of nature and the cosmos. Since Brittani and Curtis are very close to nature, it was meaningful for them to have Hanna by their side as they tied the knot. You could see their happiness in the smiles they shared while walking down the aisle together!
For the wedding reception, Layers of Lovely created a gorgeous sweetheart table with an immaculate floral centerpiece of garden roses. Soft silk linens cascading toward the ground gave the table a romantic look. The style of the reception was in perfect keeping with the rest of Brittani and Curtis’ wedding day—intimate and romantic. Brittani’s Samantha Sleeper wedding dress emphasized her beauty, as did her stunning wedding bouquet. Her cute Bella Belle sandals and flower-strewn hairstyle added a light touch to this unforgettable day.
